Group Reservations
We love hosting groups at The Gentry Cinema, whether from a school, church, community organization, or a birthday party. Please read the details below, then complete the group event request form. That helps us gather the important details, then we’ll reach out to discuss further.
School groups
Whether you’re bringing a group of students as a reward for meeting a goal or looking to supplement classroom lessons with a specific film, we can help make it happen.
We typically don’t require a minimum for school groups. For any movies already on our schedule, the cost is $6 per student and $7 per adult for newer releases or $5 per person for classics — plus tax, and prices are slightly higher if paying by credit card.
Most of the time we schedule school groups for a 9:00 AM arrival and 9:30 AM start time or a 12:00 PM arrival and 12:30 PM start time, but let us know if you need an alternate time.
School groups can pay for tickets only, or you can pay for tickets plus receive a discounted rate of $3 for our kids combo (snack size popcorn, small drink, and fruit snacks) for each person.
Private screenings
Private screenings can be arranged for church groups, sports teams, families, or any other group. Minimum group size is around 35 people to reserve the large theater and around 10-15 people to reserve the small theater.
Standard ticket rates apply for a movie we’re already showing. If you choose a movie, minimum cost is around $200 — movie choice, concession packages, and number of people can increase the cost.
We can work with you on a special concession package or each person can simply purchase their own concessions.
Private screenings are most common on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, but other days or times may be available.
Birthday parties
Come celebrate your birthday at The Gentry with a private screening of a movie or video games on the big screen. You can bring cake, cupcakes, or cookies to enjoy in the lobby area 30 minutes prior to the movie, but no other outside food or drink is allowed.
Standard ticket rates apply for a movie we’re already showing. If you choose a movie, minimum cost is around $200 — movie choice, concession packages, and number of people can increase the cost.
Birthday party reservations typically occur on Saturday mornings, but a Sunday afternoon may also be possible depending on the weekend.
Video Games
Video game rentals start at $175 for two hours of screen time.
If celebrating a birthday, you can bring cake, cupcakes, or cookies to enjoy in the lobby area 30 minutes prior to your screen time reservation, but no other outside food or drink is allowed.
Video game reservations typically occur on Saturday mornings, but a Sunday afternoon may also be possible depending on the weekend. Weeknights are sometimes possible for church groups or other groups as well.
Reserved rows at regular screenings
If you have a church group, birthday party, or other group that’s too small for a private screening but still wants to sit together for a regular screening, let us know. For groups of 10+ we can reserve a couple rows for your group. We also offer on-screen birthday greetings for $20 (free with private screening reservations).
